We note that the bearings on the Phantom II starter motor are not self lubricated although a standardisation sheet was completed without comment on the 4.4.33., and on the back of the sheet we note that this feature was to be fitted to 0.2 series. We shall be glad if you will arrange for this feature to be incorporated on Phantom II starter motors as soon as possible as we have proved it to be a definite improvement where, as in the case of the 40/50., we have ample room for a good reservoir of oil soaked felt. We referred to this special starter motor bearing in a memo we sent to the D.O. reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.15/KT.29.3.33. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
