We also had one of the front wings come loose.

The whole of to-day has been spent in getting the various jobs put right. We are expecting to leave Paris in the morning.

The change speed lever on this car is bad for making a noise. This is another case where we have too easily departed from the scheme which has been proved to be satisfactory. The experimental model which was made up by Coverley and run on 19 EX for over 12 months, and we also had a similar scheme on a Bentley and gave no trouble. The one we have on this car now is worse than the original one which we replaced.
