PROVEN and Interesting FACTS About Synchro-Start ECONOMY 1. An increase of mileage per gallon is achieved by SYNCHRO-START. 2. Battery current is saved due to less cranking, quicker starting and “live flywheel pick-up.” 3. A “higher line voltage” is maintained for the ignition due to less battery demand. (This helps starting). 4. Less charging rate is required due to reduced demand on the battery, thus adding life to the generator and battery. 5. Less strain is put on all parts of the starting system materially increasing their life. 6. SYNCHRO-START will keep spark plugs firing that would otherwise miss, and compensate for the natural increase of “gap” due to the burning away of the points. TESTS Gruelling tests for three years by the industry, thru its engineering and laboratories, which have assisted and co-operated so materially in the development and perfection of the product, has proven every claim made for SYNCHRO-START. SAFETY 1. The danger of stalls is removed since the engine is never allowed to stop. SYNCHRO-START keeps the engine turning forward. 2. In case of a stall while climbing a hill, SYNCHRO-START comes in and holds the car from backing down hill. The moment the clutch is released, cranking starts instantly. 3. Continuous cranking until the engine starts is always available to pull the car to safety in case of an emergency. 4. SYNCHRO-START prevents “back fire” and “back rock” with all their dangers. 5. Both hands and feet are free at all times for other duties. CONVENIENCE 1. SYNCHRO-START automatically starts the engine when the ignition switch is turned “ON” and restarts the engine if it attempts to stop, but before it has a chance to stop. 2. SYNCHRO-START makes starting so much easier and faster and avoids the inconvenience of reaching for a starter button or even thinking about it. 3. SYNCHRO-START never allows the flywheel to stop turning “forward” as long as the ignition switch is “ON”. 4. Greater comfort is assured by no thought or fear about a dead engine. SPEED AND POWER 1. An increase will be added to the “top speed” of the car due to the faster ignition and carburetion. 2. More maximum power is available due to the improved combustion. 3. Faster cranking due to the “low voltage drop” at main contacts of SYNCHRO-START which carry full battery current to the starting motor. 4. Quicker starting and less cranking at each start. 5.
