6504 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}9/JH.3.1.38. 26.G.VI Wraith Car. We would like you to make for the above car one exhaust downtake pipe, front exp. box and intermediate pipe in standard gauge material nickel plated inside and outside, so that they can go with the car to France as spares. At the moment very thin gauge material has been instructed for this car, and whilst we wish to run same, we would like to have something ready to fit if the thin material breaks down.
