-2- Contd. It has the appearance of being drier, more crisp, and more likely to crack with handling than the standard material which seems more flexible. It is the opinion of production (Mr. Brock), however, that it would be quite alright in making up. We think that before we can recommend this material to be adopted in place of that used at present, one or two coils should be made up with Symons varnished paper for test. Further, that if it is intended to use this material for condensers as well, one or two condensers should be made up with it, in order to confirm that the inductivity of the paper is sufficiently high.
