A.{Mr Adams} CHESTON, Esq.,
Messrs. Hallam Sleigh & Cheston Ltd.,
Witney Works,
Bagot Street,
BIRMINGHAM.

Dear Mr. Cheston,

Confirming our telephone conversation this morning with reference to adjustable seat backs on the V-12 LAGONDA 10 ft. 4 wheel base 4-light saloon; as explained to you I am anxious to know the type of fitting used and thought possibly that it would be one of yours.

I much appreciate your offer to obtain the necessary information and let me know.

Regarding folding occasional seats, if you can let me have prints of seats which you are supplying and any other fittings which you think might be of interest, I should be obliged.

You mentioned that you might come over to see me. If you would care to come over and bring Mrs. Cheston with you, we should be very pleased to put you up for the week end, but I am afraid the only entertainment I could offer would be a very interesting golf course. As you probably know, Duffield is a village and, apart from very beautiful country, there is not much else, particularly at the present time, in the way of amusement but, should you and Mrs. Cheston care to come, both my wife and myself will be delighted to see you.

Yours sincerely,

P.S. I am expecting to be away next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ( the 25th, 26th and 27th instant).
