Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your wire of even date, regarding the pistons which we are developing for you, and confirm having wired you in reply stating that we hope to have these pistons available during the course of next week.

The delay in getting these forward is due to pressure of work in our tool room, and as you are aware we have had to make a complete new set of tools for this particular item. These are however practically completed, and we will rush forward the necessary castings and have them machined without delay.

When we have had an opportunity of checking the first casting from the dies we will then give you a closer promise as to which day we hope to despatch them.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE BIRMINGHAM ALUMINIUM CASTING (1903) CO LTD.
