| STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. COMPLETED 4.3.24 Date 15.1.24. X No. 4586 Description of Parts. STEEL ARTILLERY WHEELS. Origin: To provide alternative to wire wheels. Experimental Test Report. In order to satisfy some customers we must have an alternative wheel to the wire wheel. The disc wheel we do not recommend. These wheels are similar in design to those which we tested for 10,000 miles on a 20 HP. They are used in connection with the standard wire wheel hubs. Road Test Report. Approx. 12 sets of these wheels have been fitted to customers cars. They have been in customers hands for some time - no complaints.
