TURNING CIRCLES.

With reference to CJ3/E8. 2.24. The EAC.111. long chassis will have proportionately greater turning circle than the EAC.111. short chassis. This proportion will be the same as the present standard 40/50 long and short chassis.

When it was decided to abandon the radius rods it was thought that we should be able to obtain a reduced turning circle on the EAC. long chassis compared with the standard 40/50 short chassis. It has since, however, been found that this cannot be obtained because of the brake operating mechanism fouling.

Modified pieces are being made so that we can obtain the maximum possible lock. When these are fitted to a car we will report what the turning circles will be.
