P/Eu X1555 Wa.{Mr Wallis}7/Go.9.I.22 Re. Fuel Saver We are sending you herewith sample of a fuel economiser and give you below copy of a memo we received from CT. of our Nice Depot. " I am enclosing a sample of fuel saver which I thought might interest you or the works. The Marquis d'Alcedo chassis 140-BW had an arrangement fitted to his car for fuel economy, which as far as I could make out consisted of a small tank with a pipe leading to the induction pipe just above the carburettor. The tank is filled with water and one of the tablets put into a litre of water. It is then sucked through a very very small jet by means of a copper pipe to the induction pipe. I do not know whether it is any good as the car went away before it was properly tried out but I got the chauffeur to give me a sample of the preparation. It looks as if there were some copper sulphite in it and it smells like a desinfectant. The Marquis had the arrangement fitted somewhere here in Nice, but it is not properly on the market. " CT. We do not know if this is of any interest or not. WA.{Mr Wallis} Ghw STAMP 1: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 12 JAN 1922 RECEIVED STAMP 2: SN{Mr Sanderson} 11 JAN 1922 RECEIVED | ||
