Referring to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/ML.12.4.40. I discussed this matter when in London and C. tells me that we are already using the Inspector's drivers on maintenance work for which we are charging. This has been going on now for some months. There are only 4 men available, namely, one in the South with Chichester, one in the Midlands with Bell-Scott, one in the North-East of England with Strong, and one with Meade-King in Scotland and North East England.
