1345 Long file. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}2/B. 15th February, 1940. R.{Sir Henry Royce} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} S. Buckle, Esq., Rolls-Royce Representative, R.A.F. Station, HORNCHURCH, Essex. Dear Dick, Very many thanks for yours of the 13th inst. together with the letter from The Vauxhall Motors Ltd. I will get in direct communication with these people. Last week, Kenneth got up and snorted - in other words, he stood up for himself for once and was absolutely staggered when everyone agreed with him. He has got his way and is doing a fortnight at Hawkers, Brooklands. He then proceeds to Supermarines and Boulton Paul for a fortnight with each of them. I am very glad because he will be much happier away from here. Once again many thanks. Yours ever, (D.G.Abbot-Anderson). | ||
