Dear Dick,

Very many thanks for yours of the 13th inst. together with the letter from The Vauxhall Motors Ltd. I will get in direct communication with these people.

Last week, Kenneth got up and snorted - in other words, he stood up for himself for once and was absolutely staggered when everyone agreed with him. He has got his way and is doing a fortnight at Hawkers, Brooklands. He then proceeds to Supermarines and Boulton Paul for a fortnight with each of them. I am very glad because he will be much happier away from here.
