Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 8th.inst., in which you confirm the visit of your Mr.Scott and self to our Works on Tuesday last with a view to discussing the general finish of models 10" and 11" clutches. The remarks contained in the second paragraph of your letter have been duly noted, and are receiving fullest consideration. In the meantime, we feel that it would be advantageous for our Mr.Armitage and the writer to visit your Works with a view to further discussing the particular problem of ovality and examining your alignment jig, and you could probably no doubt arrange for the above mentioned to visit your Works immediately after the Easter Vacation at a time which would suit the convenience of your Mr. Scott and self.
