X.1692 Extract from EG/G31.3.21 re Electrical Matters. Report of visit of Messrs. Wormald & Hives to W.W. on 19.3.21. (7) "GOSHAWK II" DYNAMO. X.3533. X.294. X.1005. X.1692. It is desired to know if the Rotax dynamos is a hummer, or if it bears out Mr. Royce's suggestion regarding the good effect of even number of teeth in the armature. For quietness it is supposed that there should be an exact number of pitches under each pole. The dynamo should be removed from the Marmon car and the particulars of the magnetic circuit sent to Mr. Royce. The two machines which fit our specifications got out for "Vulture" and "Goshawk II" should be ordered from the Rotax Company. | ||
