To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copies to WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} OWB "NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I". LOUVRED BONNETS. We have now had an opportunity of trying the cars fitted with louvred bonnets, and owing to the tinny sound which comes from the engine when standing, we feel it would not be desirable to adopt louvred bonnets as standard except for hot countries specially arranged for by the Export Department. When we louvre bonnets, do we always fit the very large louvres, as these seem to be unsightly as compared with a number of small ones. If a number of small louvres are satisfactory, could you please send us a few samples of types of louvres you would suggest, for us to select from? B.J. | ||
