HYPOID GEARS. E.A.C.9 & 10.

Referring to R4/M.7.4.27. we had communicated with Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} on the subject of the design of the hypoid. The information conveyed to us enabled us to cable Cy. emphatically that we must have either the modified gear or none at all.

The result of the pressure we brought to bear has been that the Gleason Company have decided to produce the gears to our latest drawings, precisely as shown. We have therefore ordered the necessary pinions and wheels (six sets) which we hope to have delivered in the course of a month or five weeks.
