To Bm. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Pm. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Pm.7/KT.30.11.35. c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} We hope you will be able to fix up with Mr. Macintosh to borrow the Lincoln car. As you know we want to run it on 6 cylinders; obviously we should tell them this. If we do any damage, we shall have to be prepared to pay for it. Short of buying a 12-cylinder car, this is the only way of getting the information required at the present moment for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III design. We lent Mr.Smith, their works director at Dagenham, our open Bentley car for the week-end, and therefore we do not think you will have any difficulty in borrowing the Lincoln. If they agree, we should like to come down and personally observe the test. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Pm. | ||
