Variation of Voltage charging

Edison 12 Volts.
* 11.8. Volts at the commencement of charge
16.6. " finish of charge with charge on
= 4.8. Volts variation on 16.6 Volts.
= 28.9%

Exides 4 Volts.
* 4.0 Volts at the commencement of charge
5.6 " finish of charge with charge on
= 1.6 Volts variation on 5.6V
= 28.9%

* These cells are discharged to 10.8V and 3.6V respectively but always rise again when left standing for a short time. This is more pronounced in the Edison.
