Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LGS.9.24. OBJECT OF TEST. TESTS ON MICKLEWOOD 2-STROKE ENGINE. TESTER. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham. CONDITIONS. Tests bench. SUMMARY OF TEST. It will be seen from the attached reports that very considerable amount of work is necessary before this engine can be made to run satisfactorily. On the last tests, the piston has broken the top portion away from the lower portion. We should like your instructions as to what you wish us to do with the engine. Mr. Micklewood called at the Works when the first tests were being carried out. We understood from him that this particular engine has never been run any distance. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
