Dear Sirs,

We have now received the supressors you have sent to us following the visit of your representatives to our Works. We would inform you however, that the small brass ferrules which are fitted to the plugs are tapped 3BA instead of 2BA, will you kindly send us a supply of these ferrules tapped 2BA.

We would also remind you that you have not sent us the small spring washers for fitting underneath these brass ferrules.

We have noted that when the supressor is sprung on to this brass ferrule on the plug it is quite loose. This is a feature we cannot permit because we insist upon a tight connection being made and have therefore arranged for the new brass ferrules to snap on and so hold the suppressor tight on to the plug.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
