PHANTOM LUGGAGE GRID.

We note that the luggage grid has been strengthened up as recommended from F.76225 to F.77129. As stated in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG15.11.27. we broke the grid through B. as often as we did through A.{Mr Adams} (print to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}) At the moment, therefore we rather feel that the section of F.76764 is out of proportion to the section of F.77129, the former not having been strengthened in parallel with the grid.

We observe the increased section of tube F.76976. This still allows the wheel to vibrate a certain amount. This will not break, the only objection is that it is difficult to keep the wheel tightened up due to the vibration.
