Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG21.11.27. F.XI ENGINE. X3933 We have made a very definite improvement in the slow running of the F.ll engine fitted to the Fairey 'Fox'. This has been achieved by the alteration to the magneto range and small detail alterations to the carburetter slow running device. We consider the slow running on this engine is now satisfactory. We are not satisfied however with the starting of the engines. They frequently have considerable trouble in getting the engines to start up. We have fitted an Athmos Primer. So far this has made no very great improvement. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
