S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re GAE-19. C3/C10.4.35. The steering on my car appears to be very considerably improved, more particularly at low speed corner work. I shall be interested to know whether all the items referred to in your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW6.4.35. were carried out - that is to say, did you reduce the poundage of the cross steering tube as well as fit the short pendulum lever? The lower gear, owing to the shorter pendulum lever, is scarcely noticeable. The steering is a great improvement over some of our standards. C. | ||
