BWG{J. C. Bowring} X7460 To Dr. From Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.25.1.34. c. to: E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HHS. Phantom Petrol Tank. Referring to F.85921 shewing the centre of petrol tank for 28-EX, we suggest that instead of the divided tube secured to the inner baffles, the nuts of which are difficult to handle, we should use a tube right across the tank as we have instructed for Bentley and 20/25. This is now possible because of the revised position of the outlet pipesand level gauge, and we should think would be a considerable saving of cost. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
