Phantom Petrol Tank.
Referring to F.85921 shewing the centre of petrol tank for 28-EX, we suggest that instead of the divided tube secured to the inner baffles, the nuts of which are difficult to handle, we should use a tube right across the tank as we have instructed for Bentley and 20/25. This is now possible because of the revised position of the outlet pipesand level gauge, and we should think would be a considerable saving of cost.
