Bowen}70 C-RT1 3 - R75 2 - P100 C.E.P We do not think that you or we are likely to have an opportunity of using up the RB{R. Bowen}-72 head lights, and we therefore suggest that these should be returned direct to Lucas of Birmingham for credit. Will you please let us know when they are despatched and will you please instruct the Department concerned to see that credit is obtained. We think you should retain the centre and tail lamps and we will arrange to send you others in nickel-plated finish. As regards the wing lamps, please send these to Barker & Co. Ltd., Olaf Street, Notting Hill, London, W.11. so that they may be sprayed. The black spot lamp has already been delivered to Barkers. We will supply them with a nickel one in exchange. We will do our best to obtain a sample Klaxon of the new type, and will advise you in a day or two whether we are successful or not. We are leaving you to deal with the question of the instrument board. X 1069. The Cobra wind horn sent up to you with the lamps is Black. Perhaps EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will say whether this is to be left black or whether he would like it send to the Coachbuilders to be sprayed to match the valance or whether he would prefer it to be replaced by a nickel one.
