Idler Gear.
Is thread for withdrawal nut on wheel as instructed E.71375/6/7 O.K.? Expt'l:Dept:
Are sheet packing pieces necessary for lining up gears? Expt'l:Dept:

Governor and Distributor Drive.
Mark on all Patent Nos. "E" D.O.

Water Pump.
Which finish - Black enamel (20 HP) or G.M. (40/50 HP). Expt'l:Dept: & By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}

Oil Pump.
We have instructed the G.M. casings not the alum: ones. Have the latter been tried? Expt'l:Dept:
Are gear wheels satisfactory? Expt'l:Dept:

Wheelcase.
The first 132 sets will be made to suit square footed coil base.(E.71286) Drg: E.71325 is for use afterwards with round base.
Have coarser helicals 9DP E.71274/5/6/7/8 been tried? or 7.5 DP straight cut ground gears to E.70822/3/4/5? Expt'l:Dept:
