4 1/4 Litre Bentley - 57-KU for VANDERVELL.

With reference to memo' Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.5.7.37, the Experimental Dept. have dealt with the special features required for the engine unit for this chassis, with the exception of the Con Rods, in which case, the Hall's Metal Bearings have proved unsatisfactory, and further castings are having to be made. Consequently, we shall be unable to send this chassis to the Test Dept. during week-ending July 31st as arranged.

We will report later as to when the chassis can be sent to the Test Dept.
