CLUTCH FINGER SETTING - WRAITH & Bentley.

We set the fingers of both 11" and 10" Borg & Beck clutches on a rig which gives dimensions from face of flywheel as per sketch attached :

On the rig the fixed dimensions of .330 closely approximates the actual compressed thickness of the 10" and 11" Thermoid B. & B. plates which we use for both B. & B. and Long clutches.

While the dimensions 1.820 and 1.937 need not be held to close limits, it is important that the fingers on any one clutch do not vary by more than .005.

We suggest that the dimensions .330 and 1.820 ± 20 be added to the Wraith and Bentley arrg. drawings.
