Dear Sirs,

Ref: EFC4/T.

We are in receipt of yours of the 24th inst., with regard to a 6 volt battery you require, overall dimensions not to exceed 8.75" high x 7.25" wide x 9.25" long. The battery we understand is required in a standard wooden tray.

The nearest size we can supply will be 3 BXE 5, the dimensions of which you will see from page 11 in the enclosed catalogue are length 10 3/8" width 6" height 9 3/4". The height you will note exceeds the figure mentioned in your letter, and we shall be glad to hear if same would meet your requirements otherwise we regret we have no other suitable type we can offer.

If the battery proposed by us will answer the purpose, kindly let us know by return and we will have the battery made up, charged and delivered to the address given without delay, together with the necessary wooden packing pieces with which to pack the battery in the container.
