WILCOX-RICH CORPORATION 2. Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham June 23, 1936 It is now believed that the ideal combination, with our present knowledge, is an austenitic type valve with the seat Stellited, operating against a Stellite-faced insert, although this is rather an expensive proposition and has not been adopted, to our knowledge, by any of the manufacturers. As Mr. Jardine would say: This is a standard of excellence to use for comparison with any other setup. If we come across any further information regarding inserts which we think would be of interest, we would be glad to forward the information. We would be very pleased if you would feel free to call on us for any further information that we might have. Yours very truly, WILCOX-RICH CORPORATION V.C.Young V Engineer | ||
