Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1729 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.1/HP.1.10.34. re Cadillac. I tried the Cadillac this week-end and understand that the damping is deleted from the front end suspension. In this condition there is very little effect on the suspension although sensitive passengers might feel 'sea sick'. The major point under observation, namely the steering, is also very little effected, occasional joggles only being brought up on bad pieces of road. We should be glad if you could arrange to have one induction pipe and carburetter stripped down for our inspection as early as convenient. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
