EFC. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Stamp: ORIGINAL] Hsl/LG10.6.20. [Handwritten: 4] [Handwritten, struck through: X.2778c.] RE - WIRING. [Handwritten: X.3764b.] [Handwritten: X.3977] We have fitted up 4.EX Car with the improved type of Glovers Ferflex covered wire. This wire is an improve- ment over the wire we are at present using. 1. Because of the reduced diameter which gives it a neater appearance - 2. Because we have got rid of the 6-30s wire which was liable to break. The improved arrangement of Junction Box is also used in connection with this wire. This Junction Box gives a much neater appearance because of all the wires going in at the side of the box instead of some at the side and some at the top and bottom as at present. In connection with the Junction Box we recommend that the engraved plate showing the wire diagram should be fixed to the lid.{A. J. Lidsey} On the other side we recommend that a plate giving a few hints of the things to look at if anything goes wrong with the Electrical System.
