Mr. Geoffrey Smith. ------- I enclose copy of letter received from Mr. Geoffrey Smith, which I think you will be interested to see because you will note how extremely pleased he is with the car. He makes two points; one about the clutch being inclined to judder. In this respect I have told him to try starting off with the engine going rather faster than he has been used to with his Rolls-Royce. The second is about the carburetter. You will note he has not found out the trouble that is worrying us at the moment but he makes a suggestion regarding the flooding generally which may be worth Design considering. If they have any cure in prospect for this I shall be glad to know, so that I can inform Geoffrey Smith. C. | ||
