J.N. Longley, Esq.,
Messrs. Ferodo, Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.
Dear Mr. Longley,
Chromium plating seems to be coming to the fore very much nowadays, and we are finding it exceedingly useful on many parts of the car where high resistance to wear is required.
The people who are doing the most successful job at present are Durion Ltd., Parsons Green, London, S.W.6., the chairman of which Company is Capt. V.H. Baker. I have asked him to get in touch with you and plate one of your test rig drums so that you can tell us whether it is any good, and what is the best lining to use therewith.
Yours sincerely,
