Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB.1/ET.16.1.41. - 2 - To maintain damping at the required level, the direct contact between disc B. and the hub flange must be cut out. The torsional springs must be increased in diameter, so that they do not pinch the retaining wires. Incidentally the latter often wear grooves in the springs.
