Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}3/R.14.12.34. Re: Discharge of Batteries on Bentley Chassis - By6/G.10.12.34. The contents of your memo are agreed, and Sales are very relieved to know that we shall be able to give them something which will enable the dynamo to cut in earlier. Undoubtedly, this is far more valuable than the higher charging rate for the people who are really difficult to cater for, namely those people who use their cars in towns with very little running outside. C. notes that we are busy with the design of the suggested new armature. C. thinks your idea a good one, and is in agreement that we prepare, say, a dozen dynamos with these special armatures fitted to be used by the Depots to send out to deal with cases of complaint. Will you, therefore, please give the necessary instructions. Will Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. inform us when these dynamos are ready for sending out.
