French Tests.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}21/E21.3.38

Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R8.3.38 (received this morning) I am particularly interested to note that the body on the Bentley is in an advanced state of disintegration because you will remember that this was the body made by Park Ward's in the more economical manner and we went to the trouble of changing it before Christmas in order to combine the test.

As Park Ward's will be coming to Derby next week (Tuesday) it will be a good opportunity for our people to go over the body with them, so will Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} please see that the car is available at Derby, with if possible a report on the body.

Re the other car, I think it would be a good idea for Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} to take this over and do the other testing without bringing the car back so, if you, agree, please advise him accordingly.
