Dear Sir:-
I beg to thank you for yours of the 24th inst., attaching preliminary report on the Multiple Storage Batteries, which were loaned by my firm to Messrs Rolls-Royce.
I note the results so far obtained, and unless I hear from you to the contrary, I will communicate these to the manufacturers of the batteries in America, who will no doubt be very interested, and whose remarks on the performance I should like to have.
I realise that vibration and further tests must be extended, and I should be much obliged if at some future date, you could let me know the final results, and your conclusions.
We sent you for test two separate 6 volt batteries, such as are used on the standard American cars, and these were not really intended to comprise a 12 volt unit. We merely sent you two
