SERRATIONS FOR LEVER TO SHAFT ATTACHMENT.

Preliminary tests have shown that it is quite possible to cut serrations in a lever with a hardened knurled shaft. We are therefore wanting to test some levers attached in this manner on the bumper rig.

Will you please therefore let us have drawings for the necessary parts for B.III. front suspension dampers. As the intermediate lever should be attached in a similar method, but has to be detachable, we recommend that 2 or 3 of the serrations should be removed from the knurling in order to supply the required location. Best results have been obtained by using S.Z. for the shaft and S.M. for the levers, we therefore want to continue with these materials until failures occur.
