With reference to cylinder liner castings, investigation has been proceeding in connection with alternative supplies and cost of same which are as follows. It should be noted however that an additional charge of 9/- per liner is added to the purchase price of machined liners covering the extra operations carried out by the Works, namely -

Nickel Deposit Outside.
Rough Hone Bore.
Final Grind Outside Diameter.
Final Hone Bore when in Position.
