RADIATOR DROPPED 4" IN FRAME INCORPORATING THERMOSTATICALLY OPERATED SHUTTERS. Origin. Bottom plate milled away to prevent stones jamming shutters. Experimental Test Report. Fitted to 18-G-IV for tests in France. The scheme is an improvement and should help to prevent shutters jamming by small stones. Gives wider gap between apron and shutters. Road Test Report. Fitted to 18-G-IV No mileage run. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works.
