CHASSIS NO.: B.51.AE.
OWNER: P.M.Stewart.
DELIVERY DATE: 13.2.34.
TYPE OF BODY: Park Ward Coupe.
SPEEDO READING: 11,603 actual mileage 21,000 approx.

DATE IN DEPT.: 20.9.35.
OWNER'S COMPLAINT: Check over engine after repairs carried out in Vienna by Adler & Rausch to rectify big end failure.
APPARENT CAUSE OF COMPLAINT: Not known. No2. big end failed.

RECTIFIED BY: Dismantling engine, examination of oiling system. Changing 6 conn. rods, re-erection and test.
REMARKS: Owner assures us that there could be no definite reason for the failure, as the car ran magnificently both before and after the trouble. The connecting rods are being returned to B.M.(1931)Ltd. Repair Dept. Derby. under cover of our advice note No.4237 for inspection.

GENERAL REMARKS: The connecting rods fitted are of the modified type as per Depot sheet No.HD.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}279.
