Dear Sirs,

With further reference to your letter of May 28th. re variation of engine speeds at closed throttle when the Autovac is functioning, I have designed a fitting to take the place of the Suction Elbow, which is illustrated on the attached sketch. This fitting restricts the volume of carburetted air taken from the Autovac when same is functioning at closed throttle, but does not come into action when the depression in the induction pipe is less than 6" of mercury. I propose to send our representative over to demonstrate the fitting and shall be pleased if you will kindly let me know the most convenient date, about 12 o'clock.

Yours faithfully,

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Higginson Director.
