With reference to your memo By/WS.5/MG.7.7.39 as to the timing diagram, in respect of the valve timing, this should be as standard B.V. (memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}2/WH.6.7.39). The ignition distributor having hand control and single contact breaker together with other characteristics of the unit, necessitates a different flywheel marking from B.V. This should be A.IGN. (Advanced ignition) and 5° Before TDC. whilst the governor characteristic should be in accordance with the memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}15/JH.14.6.39. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} 93 b119 | ||
