Date 4 - 7 - 1928 Order No. WC114 Customer's No. Ignition coils with the windings packed out to the case eliminating any air space round the coil in its case. We have now conducted experimental bench tests on two coils experiment-ally arranged as above and conven-iently designated X and Y, X having a 22 SWG primary (present std type) and Y a 25 SWG primary (finer primary type). The tests consisted of:- (a) Temperature measurements of the windings by the increase in secondary resistance method after working for 5 hours at 17.5 volts in conjunction with a std distributor (make & rates .55) running at 700 rpm, and also after Signed (contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
