The Expl: Dept: would like definite instructions in connection with the following points :-

(1) Is the car (9-PK) which is commencing the 10,000 miles test in France to run with Woodhead 20% type stiffer springs or shall they be changed for 12½% springs?

(2) 98-NK car is being prepared to send to France. Are we to fit to this car Firths springs? Are these to be 20% or the 12½% type springs?

Unless we hear to the contrary, we shall continue running with the 20% Woodhead springs on 9-PK and shall fit to 98-NK (which will leave for France next week) Firths springs of the 12½% type.
