This leaves us between seven and eleven tests in hand for three windscreens and two tails. To get the ultimate value of these features we could try the six tests with the best possible wings and as the seventh the most practical of the three sets of wings with the steepest practical windscreen and the long tail. The remaining four tests could be any combination of tails, wings, and windscreens thought desirable. I think it would be best to confine these tests to two days, and we could then digest the results before putting the second model in the wind tunnel or making any further tests on the first model. If you will let me know when the tests will be made, I will try to get down to the track on the second day. Perhaps you will want to make the third model into a two-seater when you have the figures from the wind tunnel. We have written the following letter to Park Wards with reference to the wings for the green Bentley car which we are anxious to have fitted as soon as possible.
