FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}274 Water Seal B.III Brakes.

The water seal shown on this scheme necessitates a machining operation on the adjuster housing which for reasons connected with purchasing, we are anxious to avoid.

Will you please alter the scheme to show a square section rubber ring with a groove in it, as explained to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} as these are quite cheap.

Will HPP. please note that no adjuster housings need be modified.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/APM.
