I return herewith your sketch of the proposed modification to the cross steering ball joint, which Mr. Royce has approved, the only comment being that the nut needs clearing away to miss the stem of the sphere as shown in LeC.536 and LeC.538. Also please note the hollow chamfer at the back of the inner contact piece and the hole for the dowel pin right through the steel. Oy.
