To Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} x560 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}13/KW.26.4.35. We are to-day despatching a short type pendulum lever for use on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s 25 HP. car. When fitting, will you also have the spring movement in the s.s. tube reduced to .25" either side of the ball. We have experienced one case where in fitting the shorter lever to a standard car and s.s. tube, the nut in the steering box tightened up on full right-hand lock. Should you experience this trouble it may be necessary to fit a longer s.s. tube to suit. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
